On January 19, 2023, Dr. Megan Rivers-Moore (Associate Professor, Feminist Institute of Social Transformation) shared some of her latest research alongside various academics and researchers, notably Ryan Conrad; Adjunct Research Professor with the Feminist Institute of Social Transformation. This online panel discussion was hosted by Carleton University’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Feminist Institute of Social Transformation virtually. The event explored research findings on the ways that sex workers were impacted by and responded to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, India, Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean. The panel brought together academics and activists to discuss their findings and consider lessons for the future.
