Erica Oberndorfer received the 2018 Robin P. Armstrong Memorial Prize for Excellence in Indigenous Studies.  This Prize, awarded annually, is done so by the Indigenous Peoples’ Working Group of the Canadian Association of Geographers on behalf of the Armstrong family to recognize Robin P. Armstrong’s contributions in this area. It is intended to recognize and promote excellence in applied research involving Indigenous peoples in Canada.  It’s a great testament to Erica’s dedicated work in Makkovik during and beyond her PhD in DGES.
