Ryan Parker
I am working on my masters in geography with a specialization in data science under the supervision of Murray Richardson and Stephan Gruber. I completed my BSc in geomatics at Carleton in spring 2017 and decided to return as a grad student in fall 2018. My research will be looking the dynamics of retrogressive thaw slump approaching the Dempster Highway in the Northwest Territories using structure-from-motion photogrammetry and various other GIS techniques. In my free time I’m typically found skateboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, or on some sort of adventure.
