Landon Pearson Centre

“Every child is a new chance for the whole human race.” –The Honourable Landon Pearson

In 2006, the Honourable Landon Pearson founded the Landon Pearson Centre as Canada’s only children’s rights centre. Today, through our expertise in human rights and our pioneering work in children’s and young people’s participation, the Centre is committed to improving the lives of children and youth and promoting awareness and understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Our vision is to build a society where every young person flourishes, their human rights are respected and upheld, their voices and perspectives are heard, and where their insights shape the decisions and actions of adults in creating sustainable, meaningful change.
