Mary Gitahi

Kenyan refugee; lead country researcher in Uganda (Nakivale Settlement), RSC RLO study

Mary Gitahi is the lead researcher in Uganda for the Study of RLOs in East Africa and the Middle East. Mary is a refugee from Kenya currently living in the Nakivale Settlement. Prior to joining the team, she led the Kuja Kuja Community Feedback program for 3 years with Alight Uganda, where she supported the exchange of feedback between implementing partners and refugee communities. Mary has a dream of raising awareness on refugee competence and the impact of localization in refugee communities. She holds a BA in Business Administration with a major in International Business Management from Makerere University in Uganda.
