Spanish Conversation Group Organizer

Hi, I’m Josefina! I’m a first-year student at Carleton studying Global and International Studies with a specialization in Communications and Media. I was born in Canada, but my family is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Spanish is the language I speak at home every day. Growing up between two cultures has shaped who I am and sparked my passion for language and cultural exchange. 

Becoming a Conversation Group Organizer is an exciting opportunity for me to share my own culture while also learning from others. I want this space to be engaging, supportive, fun, and a place where everyone feels encouraged to participate and grow in confidence together. 

Outside of academics, I play tennis, create art, and sing in Carleton’s choir. I love connecting with people, and I’m always open to new people and conversations. Please feel free to reach out for any questions you may have!
