Languages Spoken: English, French, and American Sign Language

I am a psychology major who found a love for linguistics here at Carleton in my first year. I love learning new languages, and I have a passion for promoting accessibility for all. I first decided to take ASL when my nephew was diagnosed with autism, and I wanted to learn more about non-verbal and adaptive communication methods. Through my ASL courses, I learned way more than I bargained for about Deaf history, culture and art, and I am now a proud Deaf ally
