The PhilanthroTHINK 2020 event in Vancouver (just before Covid hit) begins with the MPNL program’s Calum Carmichael talking about how to realize greater impact from philanthropy. Afterwards, Joanne Ryan (vice president of philanthropic advisory services at TD Wealth) moderates a panel discussion with four people:

  • Fahad Ahmad (a nonprofit consultant, researcher and program evaluator);
  • Kris Archie (a Secwepemc and Seme7 woman from the Ts’qescen First Nation and executive director of The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada);
  • Jennifer Conley (Carleton University’s chief advancement officer); and
  • Kevin McCort (president and CEO of Vancouver Foundation).
