Jenni_OsborneJenni Osborne (she/her) completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Victoria many years ago. In the decades since, she’s travelled around the world and lived in four different countries. She worked in multiple industries but found her true calling when she started working for the Foundation at North Island College on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

While adjudicating awards based on financial need, Jenni witnessed the extent of barriers people faced, not only to education, but to stable housing, food security and reliable healthcare. The other side of the job entailed cultivating a donor base to support student success. Engaging with corporate donors highlighted the vast potential for stewarding funds to those who need it most.

Through the MPNL program, Jenni aims to advance her knowledge in the areas of financial stewardship, public policy advocacy and campaign building in order to attract and leverage corporate gifts to create more access for all.

Jenni loves the outdoors, travelling, and her dog, Ebony. She also loves to curl up in front of a fire and read a good book, and maybe even write one, one day.
