The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) is proud to be Canada’s top graduate program in international affairs. We are globally recognised for excellence in teaching, research, policy engagement, and public commentary.
Our faculty include leading experts in the fields of conflict management, diplomacy, humanitarian policy, economic and social development, global health, international trade, and national security.
For 60 years, we have trained our students to become leaders in the field of international affairs.
With NPSIA’s unique inter-disciplinary curriculum, our Master’s and Doctoral students build the analytical skills needed to navigate complex global challenges. Our Coop program enables students to apply these skills and gain the hands-on experience needed to compete in today’s job market.
We currently have over 3,000 alumni, including senior officials in the Canadian public service, international organizations, foreign governments, and the not-for-profit and private sectors.
