Garon’s research applies computational social science, advanced statistical methods, and machine learning to examine how audience engagement relates to the production and circulation of harmful and extremist content online. His work focuses on xenophobic and gender-based grievance narratives, anti-authority and accelerationist movements, occult-influenced networks, and nihilistic violent extremism.
