Spring Graduation 2023 – Congratulations from the Director

Dear Graduating Students,

I want to extend my warmest congratulations on your remarkable achievement and express my utmost admiration for your dedication, hard work, and the immense strides you have made during your time at NPSIA.

We know you leave NPSIA with a deeper understanding of the world and all the complex issues we all face.  You also leave NPSIA with memories that will last a lifetime, and the connections that you have made, both inside and outside the classroom.

Today marks another important milestone in your journey. It is the end of years of hard work as university students but it is only the beginning of the next chapter. As you step out into the world, I encourage you to embrace the vast opportunities that await you. The field of international affairs is dynamic and ever-evolving, and your NPSIA education has equipped you with the tools to navigate this intricate landscape. I have no doubt that each and every one of you will thrive and leave an indelible mark in your chosen paths.

Remember, success is not solely measured by accomplishments, but also by the positive impact you have on the lives of others and being good global citizens. As NPSIA graduates, you have a unique responsibility to use your knowledge and expertise to contribute to a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world. Whether you choose to work in diplomacy, public policy, non-profit organizations, or the private sector, I implore you to be agents of change, advocates for equality, and catalysts for progress.

Stay connected to your NPSIA family and fellow alumni. The network of friends and professionals you have built during your time here is a valuable resource that will support you throughout your careers. Share your experiences, collaborate with one another, and continue to learn from the diverse perspectives that exist within our NPSIA community.

Finally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the faculty and instructors, administrative staff, and mentors who have guided and supported you along this journey. Their dedication and commitment to your success have played an instrumental role in shaping your academic and personal growth. Take a moment to appreciate their invaluable contributions.

As you graduate from NPSIA, remember that you are not just representing yourself, but also the values and ideals that our institution has stood for since its creation. Approach every challenge with the utmost integrity, empathy, and an open mindset. Your education has prepared you to be leaders, change-makers, and ambassadors for positive change.

Once again, congratulations on this momentous achievement! I have no doubt that your future endeavors will bring you great success and fulfillment. Please stay in touch with us and let us know about your achievements and milestones along the way. We are only an email or a tweet away!

Wishing you all the very best in your future work and endeavors!

Sincerely,

Teddy Samy
