Megan Manning is a nurse educator, policy advocate, and clinical leader with nearly two decades of nursing experience. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science, her career spans all domains of nursing, including critical care, academic and industry-based research, health systems accreditation, and advocating for healthy public policy. Megan has worked with national organizations such as the Canadian Nurses Association, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and Accreditation Canada, advancing initiatives in refugee health and quality improvement. As a lifelong learner, Megan has strengthened her nursing knowledge and teaching expertise in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Practical Nursing, and Internationally Educated Nursing programs. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes mentorship, inclusion, and inquiry-based learning. She aims to create a safe and supportive environment where students are encouraged to think critically, explore diverse perspectives, and translate theory into practice. Driven by her passion for nursing, Megan empowers the next generation of nurses to lead in Canada’s diverse and evolving healthcare landscape.
