The Student Nursing Association at Carleton University (SNACU) is a student-led organization made up of nursing students at Carleton University. We are committed to supporting, connecting, and advocating for nursing students while fostering a strong and inclusive community where students feel supported and connected.

Mission
SNACU represents and advocates for nursing students while fostering an inclusive and supportive community. Through events, academic initiatives, networking opportunities, and student advocacy, we help nursing students succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

To create a thriving nursing student community where every student has access to resources, support, and opportunities for success.
Objectives and Goals
- SNACU advocates for the needs of nursing students by promoting academic peer support, student wellness, and community engagement. The association aims to create opportunities for students to connect, build resilience, and collaborate with other organizations through academic, social, and professional initiatives.
Team & Roles
The SNACU Executive Team is composed of current nursing students and is organized into five teams: the Leadership Team, Events Team, Advocacy & Wellness Team, Academic Team, and Communications Team. Executive members are elected annually and work together to support and represent the nursing student community.

Events
SNACU regularly organizes a variety of events throughout the academic year, including Craft Night, Hot Chocolate Social, Relay for Life, Ontario Nursing Games, and Ice Cream Social, etc. These events provide nursing students with opportunities to connect with peers, build community, support meaningful causes, and enjoy a welcoming and engaging student experience.
