CU@Simulation by Design Work shop

Welcome to the workshop

This workshop introduces participants to the key steps involved in designing high-quality healthcare simulation learning experiences. Participants will learn how to identify learner needs, connect learning objectives with appropriate simulation methods, and design a simulation scenario grounded in evidence and best practices.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

1.Conduct a needs assessment to guide scenario design;
2.Align learning objectives with appropriate healthcare simulation modalities;
3.Design a simulation scenario based on evidence and best practices.

Participants will leave the workshop with a completed simulation scenario that can be applied in their own teaching, training, or clinical education environment. The workshop is open to healthcare educators in practice or academia, and previous simulation facilitation experience is helpful but not required.
