Wheelchair Basketball

First-year Nursing students will have the opportunity to expand their understanding of accessibility, teamwork, and inclusion through wheelchair basketball.
During this interactive session, students will be encouraged to challenge assumptions about disability and consider how nurses can promote dignity, wellness, and inclusive care while helping connect individuals with community resources and supports.
This event is being offered in collaboration with Wheelchair Basketball Canada and Abilities Ottawa.
