Students accommodated by the PMC for mental health are invited to participate in a new research study.
Join researchers from the Department of Neuroscience at Carleton for a brief information session on the study led by Emily Thaw and Maria Anam. The project will highlight current factors contributing to mental health and academic challenges. It will also identify important biological markers involved in depression and anxiety to help inform more effective treatments in the future.
Discussion items will include:
- A description of the research project and why it is important to mental health
- The eligibility criteria
- What you will be asked to do as a participate in this study
- The time commitment
- Participant compensation
- An opportunity for students to ask questions of the researchers
