The Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management is pleased to announce the appointment of two new fellows for three-year terms. Each of the fellows brings extensive practical political experience to the program.

After playing a key role in the Liberal election victory in 2003, Christine became a member of Premier Dalton McGuinty’s senior staff. She served as co-director of the Ontario Liberal war room in the 2007 election and as the party’s official spokesperson in the 2011 campaign. In 2013, she was secretary general of the Ontario Liberal Party leadership convention.

Yaroslav Baran is partner with the Earnscliffe Strategy Group in Ottawa, where he leads both the communications practice and media relations training practice. In 2004, he was communications chief for Stephen Harper’s leadership campaign. As senior communications advisor and director of war room communications, Yaroslav directed the Conservative Party’s communications and media relations through three national election campaigns, 2004, 2006, and 2008.
