Jennifer Veitch

Adjunct Research Professor

Dr. Jennifer Veitch was a Principal Research Officer in the NRC Construction Research Centre until 2026 and is now an independent consultant and researcher. Her research interests concern the effects of indoor environmental conditions, particularly lighting and office design, on health and behaviour. Dr. Veitch currently studies the effects of physical conditions in homes on the ability of Canadian seniors to age in place, and she also actively contributes to public health messaging about the benefits of a strong daily light-dark rhythm for sleep, mood, and well-being.
