“I am currently retired (in 2005) after teaching for 31 years. Having a B.A. in Psychology helped me when dealing with many age ranges of elementary kids.”
I remember Dr. Zimmerman who I took two courses from. One of them was Statistics and I actually did okay in the course. The other course that I took from him was Behavioural Psychology.
I loved going to Carleton and met lots of great people while attending this university. I would suggest that kids get a Psychology degree but I am sure that they will have to follow it up with some kind of graduate degree.
