It is very important to have a secure password. Your RCDC Virtual Machine (VM) has its own password, and is not linked to the MyCarletonOne password system. To change your password:
- Log into your VM, following the
- Type passwd followed by the enter key. You will need to enter your old password, then you will be asked for your new password twice to confirm. For security, nothing is displayed on the screen when you type your password. You must press enter between typing each password
$ passwd
