Registration Steps

All registration for courses is done through Carleton Central.
Select a term to begin your registration.
The steps below must be completed in order to ensure successful registration.
We know that registration can be overwhelming, so we have created How-To videos to guide you through each step. You will find a link to the videos as well as a number of helpful tips at each step.
Your Registration Steps
After making any registration changes, it is advised that you review your selections thoroughly by running and reviewing MyAudit in Carleton Central to make sure that your courses are counting in your degree the way that you had planned.
Step 1: Getting Started
This is where you confirm your timeticket, your program information, and any holds on your account. Complete this step before your timeticket begins.
Step 2: Build your Timetable
Plan your course selections and schedule in advance of your timeticket. The course worksheet tool will allow you yo search the class schedule and build multiple draft timetables in advance of registration.
Step 3: View your Timetable
After registering you can display the timetable of all your classes
Step 4: Payment Arrangements
After making registration changes, you can view your account balance. We have helpful tips to guide you through the payment arrangement step of registration.
Help
If you are encountering difficulties using Carleton Central, you can click the “HELP” button for an extensive help menu. Contact appropriate department for further information. Registration questions can be answered by contacting the Registrar’s Office.
If you are having troubles with registration, you may wish to speak with the Student Registration Assistance Team or an academic advisor.
Contact Information Technology Services for rechnical assistance (e.g. if you are unable to log in to Carleton Central).
Your Carleton Email
- All University correspondence will be sent to your University email address.
- The University will only respond to correspondence sent from your Carleton email address.
- See section 2.3.1 of the Undergraduate Calendar for the university policy on electronic communication.
- Your Carleton email address will be in the form of NameSurname@cmail.carleton.ca. Once activated, you can access your email through the MyCarleton portal.
- If you need help setting up your email account, contact Information Technology Services (ITS).
