2025 Service Excellence Award Recipients

Dillon Brady – Dillon’s commitment to Service Excellence has a meaningful impact on students and colleagues. For me, he’s a reliable and thoughtful collaborator, creating space to discuss behaviours and outcomes constructively.

Amy Fraser – Amy’s dedication, patience and support create an environment where students feel valued, supported and motivated to succeed.

Heather MacDonald – Heather has a gift for connecting people. Just interacting with Heather is a pleasure, she is positive, helpful, and willing to share her expertise when we need it!! 

Irene Skinner – Irene is an absolute star. She is knowledgeable, patient, and just such a joy to work with. Every interaction is productive and pleasant; she really cares about the quality of her work which is shown through every thoughtful response she provides.

Shaye Belanger – Shaye’s commitment to Service Excellence shows in the way she builds trust, encourages learning, and treats everyone with respect. What sets her apart is how she inspires confidence in others, helping them believe in their own potential. 

What stands out most is the team’s collaborative spirit. Working with Admissions Services is consistently a pleasure. They are open, innovative, and always willing to partner with faculties to find solutions that work. Their mindset is one of possibility—never “why,” always “how”—and their commitment to excellence has made a measurable difference across campus. 

This team did not simply deliver a building—they delivered a milestone. Their service excellence has had immediate, positive impacts on hundreds of students and will continue shaping the student experience for years to come. I am deeply grateful for their dedication, their professionalism, and their unwavering commitment to creating a space worthy of the community it now serves and reinforced the values we strive to uphold at Carleton.
