SPPA Associate Professor Mehdi Ammi is the new President-Elect of the Canadian Health Economics Association (CHEA). CHEA aims to address the needs of economists working in the area of health and health care trained and/or working in Canada. It promotes the scholarly work and the professional development of health economists in the country, with its main event being an annual conference organized for almost two decades. Prof. Ammi will sit on the executive committee of CHEA for a period of three years.
