It is with great pleasure to announce that Jane Whynot (PhD.c) on instructor in the School’s Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Program Evaluation (DPPE), has won this year’s Karl Boudreau Award for Leadership in Evaluation at the October 28th AGM meeting of the National Capital Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society. The award recognizes those individuals who have made a significant contribution to the national capital evaluation community, and have demonstrated leadership at various levels.

Dr. Whynot was recognized for her exemplary mentoring and coaching responsibilities of evaluation students in the region, building a strong network of evaluators aimed at improving the field, serving on the board of the local chapter, and making innovative contributions to the research on evaluation, including her groundbreaking work on GBA+ analysis tools. Dr. Whynot currently teaches the qualitative research methods course in evaluation at the School, and plays an instrumental role in the success of the DPPE. The School offers its sincere congratulations on receipt of this prestigious award.

Jane Whynot was also the recipient of the 2020 Service to the Canadian Evaluation Society.
