Alrick Campbell has joined the School for the 2022-2023 academic year.
His current research focuses on climate-induced environmental impacts and energy sector modelling, policy and regulation. His work has been published in international, peer-reviewed journals such as Energy Economics, Ocean & Coastal Management and International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction.
Alrick has been involved in teaching at the university level for over ten years and has taught a number of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level that span areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, applied econometrics, statistics, finance, engineering, and environmental and energy economics.
Alrick earned his PhD degree in Economics from the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University. Prior to joining Carleton University, he worked at the University of the West Indies (Jamaica) and the International Labour Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland.
