Carleton Perspectives on Public Policy (CPoPP) is an annual, peer-reviewed, academic journal run by graduate students in the School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA) at Carleton University. CPoPP showcases exceptional research completed by SPPA students and creates a platform for dialogue about current public policy and public management issues. Uzma Gilani (MPNL ’19)

CPoPP is pleased to introduce you to our new editor-in-chief, Uzma Gilani, a graduate of the Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL). Uzma was previously an associate and senior editor with CPoPP (2019 & 2021). She has volunteered as an editor for a few international development organizations’ publications and works as a communications consultant at the Asian Development Bank. She is also a research assistant at the SPPA’s new Charities Insights Canada Project (CICP-PCPOB).

We are also happy to welcome Prof. Adegboyega Ojo as CPoPP’s new academic advisor. We would like to thank Prof. Nathan Grasse, who served as CPoPP’s academic advisor from 2019-2022, for his ongoing support of the journal.
