Welcome Professor Joannie Tremblay-Boire!
The School of Public Policy and Administration is delighted to welcome Dr. Joannie Tremblay-Boire as an Associate Professor in the Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL) program.
Dr. Tremblay-Boire brings an exceptional depth of expertise in nonprofit governance, donor behavior, and the intricate relationships between resource providers and nonprofit organizations. Her interdisciplinary research spans individual giving, philanthropic foundations, and government-nonprofit partnerships—work that has significantly shaped our understanding of trust, power, and interdependence within the nonprofit sector.
With academic roots in Political Science and Public Policy from Concordia University and a PhD from the University of Washington, Dr. Tremblay-Boire has held faculty appointments at both the University of Maryland and Georgia State University. Her diverse experience and cutting-edge scholarship make her an invaluable addition to our community of educators, researchers, and practitioners.
