Alumna Nancy Naylor Receives Bissett Alumni Award

Ontario public service leader Nancy Naylor is the recipient of this year’s Bissett Alumni Award for Distinctive Contributions to the Public Sector. The award was presented at the School of Public Policy and Administration’s annual gala on March 6.
Nancy Naylor worked in the Ontario Public Service for over 35 years. She served as ADM in the Ministries of Finance, Education, Colleges and Universities, and Health; and as the Associate Deputy Minister of Heath, and as the Deputy Minister of Education. Her accomplishments included leading major projects in funding, labour relations, infrastructure, information technology and public policy.
She is a SPPA alumna, as well as a graduate of McMaster University. She also completed executive education programs at Ivey Business School, Harvard Business School and the Rotman School of Management.
Following her career with the Ontario government, Nancy is serving on the boards of CHEO, CHEO Research Institute, Seneca Polytechnic, the Ontario Hospital Association and the Dais, a public policy thinktank based at Toronto Metropolitan University.
