Barbara Szijarto
Contract Instructor
Barbara Szijarto holds a PhD in Education, with a specialization in evaluation and organizational learning. She’s been teaching evaluation for several years alongside an active career in the nonprofit, private and public sectors. Barbara currently manages the evaluation unit at the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), a federal agency, where she leads teams evaluating national funding programs. She’s passionate about how evaluation can support collective learning and systems change.
