Dr. Thi Kim Quy Nguyen is a post-doctoral fellow with the Charity Insights Canada Project at SPPA, an innovative initiative dedicated to supporting the charitable sector through research and education. Her work encompasses analyzing survey data, co-authoring reports, developing educational resources, and exploring critical sector issues such as workforce skills, data use, and governance. Holding a PhD in Higher Education Policy from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and an MA in Educational Sociology from the Institute of Education, University College London (UK), her academic journey has focused on the intersection of education, policy, and social equity. Dr. Nguyen’s diverse experiences include teaching English linguistics at the university level, leading teacher training initiatives in Vietnam, and volunteering with Indigenous communities in Canada’s Northwest Territories. These opportunities have reinforced her belief in the transformative power of education and the public good in strengthening organizations and communities.
