CSPS Panel: The Journey of a New Public Servant: Expectations vs. Reality
This lunch panel aims to ameliorate the fears of transition and better prepare students by giving them insight into the realities of being newly employed in the federal public service. The panelists are individuals that have recently entered the public service or have extensive experience within public service. They will discuss what their expectations were, the challenges they encountered, and how they settled into their roles.

Moderator: Eric Champagne, PhD, is associate professor in public administration at the School of Political Studies and director of the Centre on Governance at the University of Ottawa
