Join us for the launch of Silent Struggles: How Policy Reinforces Homelessness and Political Exclusion, which will include a panel discussion bringing together perspectives from academia, government, and the nonprofit sector.
Using the book as a starting point, the panel will explore homelessness, housing policy, political participation, and the role of lived experience in policymaking. The conversation will consider whose voices shape public policy, what meaningful engagement looks like in practice, and how we might build more inclusive approaches to policy development to solve social policy problems like homelessness.
Panelists include:
Dr. Mallory SoRelle, Duke University
Ian Cooper, Infrastructure and Communities
Catharine Vandelinde, Options Housing
Dr. Prentiss Dantzler, University of Toronto
Refreshments will be served. Please register to attend.
