Alexandre Couture Gagnon
PhD Graduate
Alexandre Couture Gagnon completed her PhD in Public Policy in 2013. She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Before that, she was Assistant Professor at the École nationale d’administration publique in Québec City, Canada. Her research centers on public policy in minority nations. Her work has been published as several book chapters and journal articles. She is the recipient of the G. Bruce Doern Award (2010) and the Outstanding International Female Faculty at UTRGV (2017). She sits on the Executive Council of the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS).
