Noha Rahal is a PhD candidate in public policy at Carleton University. Her research focuses on conditions for enabling big data and advanced analytics within the public sector. She holds an MA in International Economics and Finance from the Toronto Metropolitan University, and an MBA from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
She is also a public servant with the Government of Canada who works as a manager in digital transformation. She is the proud founder and Chair of the Federal Employee Network for Arab Women, that aims to empower and arm female public servants of Arab descent within the Government of Canada, with the skills and tools needed to advance their careers. This aids with advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion goals within the public service. She also serves on her departmental values and ethics group.
