Title: First Nation youth mental health programming: Federal, provincial, and regional agencies’ approaches to youth engagement
Description: This dissertation seeks to explore and understand how different levels of governance apply iterations of ‘youth engagement’ frameworks when developing youth mental health programming for First Nations living on-reserve in northwestern Ontario. Using qualitative methods, federal, provincial, regional, and community organizations will be interviewed, along with youth who are being targeted for their engagement. These data will be used to improve efforts to provide meaningful programs for First Nations youth mental health.
