Members of the Towards Carleton@100 working groups came together for a workshop hosted by the Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS) to explore how immersive and spatial technologies could support the university’s long-term strategic vision.

The workshop featured a live demonstration of a digital twin platform of Carleton, as well as immersive media and virtual and augmented reality showcases. Participants then took part in facilitated discussions to identify practical opportunities for digital twinning, including applications for governance, data integration and decision-making.

The discussions also highlighted the organizational changes and collaborative approaches that could help support a common digital platform across the university.
