Zachary Scott
Undergraduate Student (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering)
Zachary Scott is an undergraduate student member of the Institutional Health and Sustainability Working Group for the Towards Carleton@100 strategic visioning process. He is completing the final year of a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering, where his academic studies and co-op experiences have sparked a growing interest in modelling and control systems, particularly in marine applications.
Throughout his undergraduate degree, Scott has been actively involved in student advocacy and organizational leadership. He has participated in a variety of organizations both on and off campus, focusing on gathering feedback from student communities and using data-informed approaches to support meaningful organizational change. This work has strengthened his expertise in stakeholder engagement, student representation and evidence-based decision-making.
As a member of the Towards Carleton@100 strategic visioning process, Zachary contributes a student perspective on the ways current policies affect students and student organizations, helping identify opportunities to enhance the overall student experience.
