Institutional Health and Sustainability Working Group

The Institutional Health and Sustainability Working Group will assess and reimagine Carleton’s future as one integrated university and make recommendations that ensure that its resource generation, management and operating models are robust, credible, adaptable and appropriate to sustain its mission; support a healthy working and learning environment; and position the institution for inclusive impact and global prominence far into its second century.

• Technological and AI-enabled transformation
• Real estate and capital planning
• Infrastructure stewardship
• Environmental sustainability
• Governance and policy constraints

The group will recommend directions that:

• Ensure robust and adaptable operating models
• Sustain a healthy working and learning environment
• Support inclusive impact and global prominence
• Strengthen institutional resilience well beyond 2042
