The Teaching and Learning Working Group will assess and reimagine the university’s current teaching and learning ecosystem and make recommendations to facilitate innovative and transformative approaches to curriculum and pedagogy that enrich learning experiences and competencies, strengthen programs, elevate their competitiveness, and enhance Carleton’s attractiveness and prominence.

- Assessment practices
- Academic governance and approval cycles
- Technology-enabled and AI-enabled change
- Institutional adaptability and resilience
The group will recommend strategic directions that:
- Strengthen program quality and competitiveness
- Enhance adaptability and long-term resilience
- Elevate Carleton’s academic prominence
- Reinforce existing strengths that should be sustained or expanded
