What is your favourite thing about the College?

The sense of community and belonging found in the college. With such a tight-knit group of peers in spaces just for us, you become incredibly close to not only your own year but everyone. No matter your interests or experiences you have a place in the Humanities.

What will you miss the most?

I will miss the faculty the most moving on from the college. You get no better guidance, education, entertainment, or care than the Humanities. I was always excited to be in class and perpetually challenged in new ways. I could not have succeeded without their faculties support and will take the knowledge and wisdom they’ve shared with me the rest of my life.

What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?

Having read so much this is an excruciatingly difficult question but some of my favourites included Hannah Arendt’s The Human Condition, Dostoevsky’s Underground Man, The Iliad, and everything Charles Taylor.

What’s next for you?

I will be starting medical school at McMaster in August!
