What is your favourite thing about the College?

There are many great things about the College, it’s hard to pick a favourite. I loved the engaging learning environment, the tight-knit community, and the ability to engage with and find meaning in so many texts and intellectual traditions.

What will you miss the most?

I’m going to miss spending time with my friends and classmates. I’ve been able to meet some truly wonderful people over the past few years, and I’m grateful for the memories I have with them: from lectures in 303 Paterson, to Fight Night, to late night study sessions in the HUMS lounge.

What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?

Two come to mind for me: Boethius’ Consolation of Philosophy and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

What’s next for you?

I will be returning to Carleton to begin the MA Public History program!
I will also continue working as a public servant at the Department of Canadian Heritage.
