What is your favourite thing about the College?

Getting to be around a lot of smart people. Long spontaneous discussions after class. How much the professors care about not just the material but our well-being. The brain-quiet mind-focus of the lecture hall. The chaos of the lounge.

What will you miss the most?

The morning-quiet of the caf at 10am before the food stalls have opened. I used to go there after our 8:30am philosophy class at least once a week, with a pleasant hunger and a buzzing mind, ready to down a morning burger and face the day.

What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?

Augustine’s Confessions, or Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein
