Heath MacMillan is one of several Carleton University faculty members who are receiving support from Canada Foundation of Innovation’s (CFI) John R. Evans Leaders Fund to assist with their research projects. Heath will use part of his funding to establish a new laboratory to rear insects so that he study how they tolerate extreme-cold conditions. This funding recognizes the importance of the research Heath and the other recipients are doing, and how it will improve the lives of Canadians.
