Are you interested in doing fun, hands-on STEM activities with children and youth? We have just the virtual volunteer opportunity for you!

Let’s Talk Science (where our ‘science’ includes engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, earth sciences, math, health sciences, medicine, etc.) is looking for volunteers to join our organization and engage youth in STEM outreach. It is a super fun and flexible volunteering activity, where you are required to commit to a minimum of 3 activities throughout the whole year – each lasting no more than an hour and a half. Also, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of these activities will be virtual until further notice, meaning you can safely continue to inspire students from wherever you are!

This is an excellent volunteer opportunity to develop your communication skills, participate in professional development and stand out on resumes and grant applications! We offer a ton of support including several kits, training, local and national awards, and offer the unique opportunity to reach Indigenous youth, Black youth, youth from lower socio-economic areas of the city and those who live in rural and remote areas in Ontario.
