The Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs is inviting you to register for the PAPM 1001 B course in the winter of 2024.

COURSE OVERVIEW
The course introduces students to how public policy works in Canada. This is a foundational course that prepares students for future studies in public policy. The course will introduce students to the policy-making process, its implementation, and evaluation. It will examine the stages that comprise the development of policies considering the challenges faced by policymakers, researchers, and evaluators. The course will also discuss the contribution of the different forces shaping policy deliberations. The aspect of policy-making will be explored through the examination of specific policy issues which include Environmental Policy and Indigenous Policy.

The course will run on Mondays from 2.35 PM to 5:25 PM.

Prerequisites: None

Open to all students not registered in Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management Program.
