World’s 1st sperm whale reserve protects ‘carbon heroes’ of the sea
Shane Gero, scientist-in-residence in Department of Biology, Carleton University has been researching family of whales for almost 20 years. Shane frequently works with the whales in Dominica, and is an advisor to the Dominica government on “How sperm whales fight climate change” project.
His work has been recognized and appreciated by the Dominican government and we congratulate Shane for his exceptional work.
