Stopping birds from flying into windows – with Art
Carleton University has enlisted the help of local artist Maria Gomez Umana to draw a mural on one of the glass-paneled walkways, to help prevent birds from crashing into the glass. This project’s led by our Biology Assistant Professor Rachel Buxton, in collaboration with her students.
