Jason Vodden is the manager of the Greenhouses at Carleton University, where he oversees greenhouse operations in support of teaching, research, and experiential learning. As a plant biologist with a strong background in plant production and controlled-environment agriculture, Jason works closely with faculty, students, and researchers to ensure high-quality plant material and well-managed growing spaces that meet a wide range of academic and research needs.
Jason brings a practical, hands-on approach to greenhouse management, with experience spanning plant propagation, crop health, environmental controls, and sustainable growing practices. He is particularly interested in optimizing growing systems, supporting innovative research, and creating engaging learning opportunities for students.
In his role, Jason is committed to fostering collaboration across disciplines and maintaining greenhouse facilities that are both operationally efficient and educationally impactful.
