Prof. Joan DeBardeleben is presenting her lecture, “From Integrated European Space to Competing Regionalisms? The EU and Russia Before and After the Ukraine Crisis,” which focuses on the paradigm shift of the relationship between the EU and Russia, a shift that began before but was crystallized by the Ukraine crisis.

The first lecture took place on Monday, October 19, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was co-sponsored by UW-Madison’s Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, Centre for European Studies, and Centre for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia (CREECA). Click here for more information.

The upcoming second lecture will be presented on Monday, November 2, at the University of California-Berkeley, and will be held from 12:00PM – 1:30PM in Stephens Hall, Geballe Room (Room 220). This event will be co-sponsored by UC-Berkeley’s Institute of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ISEEES), which is another EUCE partner.

We wish Prof. DeBardeleben the best of luck in her upcoming lecture.
